Is Χανγκ the correct spelling?

Hang is a Bernese German word and it is pronounced [[haŋ]]. Google translator pronounces Χανγκ like [haŋk]. In German spelling this would be Hank and not Hang. What is the correct Greek spelling for [haŋ]? --78.94.174.59 22:00, 27 Μαρτίου 2011 (UTC)

Χαγγ would marginally be a more correct option, because the double γ has a more nasal quality, as in the words αγγούρι, φεγγάρι etc. Alas Greek is rather insufficient to deliver the actual German pronunciation, so the original spelling in parentheses is a necessary contribution to the article. --Chrysalifourfour 23:25, 31 Ιανουαρίου 2012 (UTC)
