Η Κατερίνα Χαρβάτη (1970) είναι Ελληνίδα παλαιοανθρωπολόγος με ειδίκευση στην πρώιμη εξέλιξη του ανθρώπου. Ειδικεύεται επίσης στις τρισδιάστατες γεωμετρικές και εικονικές μεθόδους της ανθρωπολογίας και της παλαιοανθρωπολογίας. Από το 2009 είναι καθηγήτρια και διευθύντρια παλαιοανθρωπολογίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Τύμπινγκεν της Γερμανίας.
