The question is that we want to have the correct pronounciation in the Greek Wikipedia, but I am wondering if en:Pinyin is always a good guide. For example:

• Wuhan: Do you pronounce it as Wuhan where W is used as in water / woman or Vuhan as in vulcano (as already used in several cases in Greek pronunciation) ?

Hm.. again. I cannot see any difference (I am not arguing if there is a difference or not - I am just saying I cannot distinguish) in "p" in spy, and "p" in play/please. I've found pronunciation of "bei" in [1], you could listen to it. I've also read en:Greek alphabet, if the description is correct, I think "b" in Chinese is equivalent to "π" in Greek, and "b" in "book" is equivalent to ancient "β" ("μπ" in modern Greek?).--Stevenliuyi (συζήτηση) 10:06, 28 Ιουλίου 2012 (UTC)
