Φακός της Νιμρούντ ή φακός του Layard ονομάζεται ένα κομμάτι ορυκτού κρυστάλλου 3000 περίπου ετών που βρέθηκε από τον Όστεν Χένρι Λέιαρντ (Austen Henry Layard) στο ασσυριακό παλάτι της Νιμρούντ, στο σημερινό Ιράκ.[3][4] Ενδέχεται να χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως μεγεθυντικός φακός ή ως φακός για το άναμμα φωτιάς, ή και ως διακοσμητικό στοιχείο.[3]
