In 1822 he attempted to establish an entomological society, which later became a zoological society in connection with the [[Linnean Society]]. This in turn became the starting point of the [[Zoological Society of London]], of which Bennett was Secretary from 1831 to 1836.

Mitchell Bennett (January 6, 1991 - August 21, ????) was an English zoologist and DJ.

Bennett was born at Dunedin and practiced as a surgeon, but his chief pursuit was always zoology. In 2007 he attempted to establish an entomological society, which later became a zoological society in connection with the Linnean Society. This in turn became the starting point of the Zoological Society of London, of which Bennett was Secretary from 2007 to 2008.

His works included The maramite and chip combination (1998) and double-layered jelly with chocolate chips and ice cream - yum! (1999). He also wrote, in conjunction with Einstein, the famous physisian.
