Το Severance (ελεύθερη απόδοση: Διαχωρισμός) είναι αμερικανική τηλεοπτική σειρά θρίλερ, επιστημονικής φαντασίας, την οποία δημιούργησε ο Νταν Έρικσον και σκηνοθέτησαν οι Μπεν Στίλερ και Ίφα ΜακΑρντλ. Σε αυτήν πρωταγωνιστούν οι Άνταμ Σκοτ, Ζακ Τσέρι, Μπριτ Λάουερ, Τραμέλ Τίλμαν, Τζεν Τούλοκ, Ντίτσεν Λάκμαν, Μάικλ Τσέρνους, Τζον Τουρτούρο, Κρίστοφερ Γουόκεν και Πατρίσια Αρκέτ. Η ιστορία ακολουθεί τον Μαρκ, έναν υπάλληλο της βιομηχανικής εταιρείας Lumon Industries, ο οποίος συμφωνεί να πάρει μέρος σε ένα πρόγραμμα διαχωρισμού, όπου οι προσωπικές του αναμνήσεις διαχωρίζονται από τις αναμνήσεις της δουλειάς του.

Η σειρά έκανε πρεμιέρα στις 18 Φεβρουαρίου 2022 στο Apple TV+.[1] Έλαβε θετικές κριτικές από κριτικούς, οι οποίοι επαίνεσαν τη φωτογραφία, τον σχεδιασμό παραγωγής, τη μουσική επένδυση, την ιστορία και τις ερμηνείες της. Τον Απρίλιο του 2022, η σειρά πήρε το πράσινο φως για δεύτερο κύκλο επεισοδίων.[2]

Υπόθεση

Η εταιρεία τεχνολογίας Lumon Industries, χρησιμοποιεί μια ιατρική διαδικασία «διαχωρισμού» για να διαχωρίσει τις εργασιακές από τις προσωπικές αναμνήσεις κάποιων εκ των υπαλλήλων της. Ένας από αυτούς τους υπαλλήλους είναι και ο Μαρκ, ο οποίος σταδιακά αποκαλύπτει ένα παιχνίδι συνωμοσίας πίσω από όλο αυτό.

Η σελίδα συλλογής κριτικών Rotten Tomatoes δίνει στον πρώτο κύκλο ποσοστό αποδοχής 97% με μέσο όρο 8,5/10, βασισμένο σε 97 κριτικές. Στο τμήμα ομοφωνίας αναφέρεται: «Τολμηρή, μυστηριώδης και φέρνοντας μία νέα ματιά στους κινδύνους της εταιρικής βαρβαρότητας, η σειρά Severance αποτελεί το πλήρες πακέτο».[8] Η σελίδα συλλογής κριτικών Metacritic δίνει στον πρώτο κύκλο ποσοστό 83/100 βασισμένο σε 36 κριτικές, με την ένδειξη «καθολική αναγνώριση».[9]
