Πρότυπο:Unreferenced Virasena was an 8th century mathematician in India who gave the derivation of the volume of a frustum by a sort of infinite procedure. He also dealt with logarithms to base 2 (ardhaccheda) and knew its laws, and was also the first to deal with logarithms to base 3 (trakacheda) and base 4 (caturthacheda).
