Περιγραφή	English: "Coal Consumption Affecting Climate", a science news item published in the New Zealand newspaper, Rodney and Otamatea Times, at Warkworth, North Island. The same news item appeared in other newspapers around the world in 1912, as general interest notes of this nature were widely copied between papers. The item is distinctive because it is one of the first news items linking fossil fuel consumption to a rise in CO₂ levels and consequent global warming or "greenhouse effect". Text was earlier published in Popular Mechanics in March 1912 (File:191203 Furnaces of the world - Popular Mechanics - Global warming.jpg) Čeština: Článek z Novozélandských novin (vydáno 14. srpna 1912) popisující principy globálního oteplování. Afrikaans: "Steenkoolverbruik affekteer klimaat", wetenskapnuus in die Rodney and Otamatea Times, 'n Nieu-Seelandse koerant te Warkworth, Noordeiland.
